Sana Sana Live — Episode 4: 2 8 Sandy Pylos
Sandy Pylos is the musical project of Paraguayan singer-songwriter Ana Belén Díaz Sacco.
Surrounded by an artistic world from an early age, spending her afternoons listening to MP3s and watching music videos on MTV, she has been passionate about music since childhood. Through instruments, she brings her melodies and rhythms to life.
She has released one LP, Notas de Voz (2023), and one EP, Ciudad de las Rosas (2025).
Her melodic sound connects with and evokes intense emotions, feelings, and places, paired with a voice that fills a space and transforms it. She draws inspiration from the small narrative and sonic worlds that an album or song can create. She enjoys the process of starting, finishing, and sharing a song as a way to connect with people.
She loves creating sounds and being extra dramatic to connect her songs with others.
Based in Portland, Oregon since 2018, she studied Sonic Arts at Portland State University (PSU).
She is also a member of the Latin pop band Palmas del Sol, where she plays keys and sings, showcasing the versatility of her talent and her love for music.
In Paraguay, she is known as the drummer of EEEKS (Los Rukis) and the keyboardist of Los Dribblers.
In this episode, Sandy Pylos performs her song “Pan de Gato,” delighting us with her guitar and voice. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed producing this episode.
